Greater Sudbury Police Are Thieves
Some of you may think all Sudbury Police employees are all upstanding citizens. Your dead wrong. Some are thieves and
use their Police powers to steal.
In the early 90's, I bought a Colt AR-15 Hbar rifle and when I registered it at the Sudbury Police Station some Police officers there at the time were quite interested in it from the get go.
This firearm BTW is almost 100% identical to the Colt M-16
used by the US miltary. Except it that it has a heavier barrel
and has a semi-automatic action unlike the fully automatic US
military M-16. Both firearms are made on the same production line though.
A few years later, I got charged with some bullshit charges and
as a result the Police approached the prosecutor to have my firearm to be seized. I was led to beleiev that it would be then
destroyed. Since that's what normally happens when firearms are seized or anything else for that matter.
In November 1999, I was assaulted by some dickhead while
sitting and waiting for a meal at a restaurant in Hanmer.
When the Police arrived, they asked the restaurant staff what
happened. The restaurant staff told the Police that I was just
sitting when this guy ran in and assaulted me.
One of those Police officers asked me for my driver's licence
which I had with me at the time. In retrospect, I have to admit
that it's pretty sad when your the victim of an assault and the
Police run your name in just the same. The officer walked away
to hear what Police communications was going to tell him. After
running my name in, he came back and asked me about
my
Colt AR-15 and I'm told that an officer in some tactical unit or
something to that effect wanted to buy it. I told the officer that
the firearm was seized a few years ago and I was told it was
destroyed.
The officer replied:
"No, the Colt AR-15 is still in the Sudbury Police Property Lockup".
I was in shock as it was clear to me that Police don't destroy
everything
and actually keep anything that they want for
themselves. The officer finally tells me before I leave to go
to the Hospital that I will be contacted by the unknown police
officer who wants my Colt AR-15.
As to what happened to the person who assaulted me in the
restaurant. I don't know. For one thing, the Police were more
interested in my gun than my personal well being
and the
Sudbury Crown office doesn't care about what happens to me either.
For all I know the Crown withdrew the charges as I was
never contacted by them about the assault.
A few days to a week later some unknown Police officer did
telephone me and says he want to buy my Colt AR-15. While
indicating to me that if I don't sell it to him that:
1. I'll never get it anyways and;
2. It will be now be destroyed.
I then asked this officer how come it wasn't destroyed since it
was seized a few years ago? Of course, this unknown officer
defends the Sudbury Regional Police Services by replying:
"I don't know why it wasn't destroyed?"
So this unknown officer showed up at my residence a few days
later with a piece of paper for me to sign and offered me a two
hundred dollars for a gun worth 5 times that much.
I asked him where's my copy of this transaction. He said that
he didn't have a copy for me to have. I suspect he didn't want
to leave a paper trail for this purchase of a restricted firearm.
The proof of this is displyed by what is said in the next section.
Then a few years later, in 2003 I got charged again.
The arresting officer in charge of this arrest asked me where
is my Colt AR-15 Hbar. I replied that an unknown Police officer came over to my residence in late 1999 and paid me $200 for it.
The Police officer in the passenger side of the police cruiser
replied that the firearm is still registered to me according to
the Sudbury Police records.
This is more proof to me that police don't follow the rules they
try to enforce and don't even register restricted firearms.
Meanwhile, the Police want to know who in Canada has firearms.
Say what you all want. But to me this is theft by the Sudbury
Greater Police at the every least. I wonder what other seized
property slated to be destroyed is actually kept by Sudbury
Regional Police Sevice Employees?
