Eastlink and Sudbury Police Services Privacy Breach
Eastlink of Sudbury gave my private information to Cst. Tim Burtt of the Greater Sudbury Police Services without a Search Warrant on July 8, 2011.
Despite the Eastlink's blatant lie intended to mislead it's customers
about their privacy concerns on the following link:
"Eastlink says data handed over only with warrant"
Cst. Tim Burtt alleged that I threatened another police officer to induce Eastlink's employee, Hubert Giroux to hand over my private information without a search warrant contrary to:
Section 8 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
"The right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure."
BTW: I was never at any time charged with threatening.
Like police never lie and cut corners these days to meet their private agendas.
In the end, the charges were withdrawn because Cst. Paul Rintala lied
about a critical key piece of evidence and the Sudbury Crown Attorney,
Susan Stothart also got personally involved.
The charges were withdrawn on May 30, 2013 on the very day that a
Charter Hearing was scheduled which would have exposed them to
the Court for their wrong doings.
As a result of those illegal actions by the employess of the Greater Sudbury Police Services and the Ministry of Attorney General office of Sudbury, Ontario. They are all now being sued.
I tell you there's some serious Cowboys working for the Sudbury Government.
Here's proof of that privacy breach. Start from the bottom half with the message from Cst. Tim Burtt who admits that he knows he needs a search warrant. But doesn't have one and is lying to Hubert Giroux.
The top half, is the reply email of where Eastlink's Hubert Giroux admits
that he acknowledges that the police needs a search warrant to get my private information. Yet still Hubert Giroux, still hands over my private information without a search warrant ever being provided.
What else does Eastlink give out freely I ask? Would it surprise you
to learn that I'm not with Eastlink anymore? Do you blame me?
